June 26th: this is the outfit I wore to show 33 CEGEP students Battleship Potemkin. Zebra/tiger striped knit dress with black tights, 70%. Final exam on Thursday.
June 22nd café working because it’s too hot to computerize in the apartment. Multi-coloured/animal printed t-shirt with fruffy sleeves I need to warm up to, black and white Aladdin pants that are actually a sort of fur print, and the brown leopard sandals still hanging in there, 100%.
June 21st and it’s 35 degrees. Cheetah top, black skirt, leopard sandals, 60%
June 19th lunch at le jardin du Château Ramezay (absolutely amazing!) with Monika to celebrate the completion of her online interactive project, Archiving R69 that we worked on last fall. Thanks Monika!
Kicked out a student and his disruptive cell phone (the same one from last week) from Intro to Film as the rest of us discussed Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing.
Snakeskin top, faded army green skirt, leopard sandals, 60%
June 18th and there will be a quiz tonight, 70%
June 17th and Portugal wins against the Netherlands to advance from their group in the Euro. I watched it at a restaurant and had brunch where something turned up in one of my poached eggs. Not sure if that’s a tricky omen or just bad breaky. 100%
June 16th and the last Meow Mix. There were shooters, but I’m okay. 95%
June 14th and jewelry counts. Jenny Lin gave me this bracelet. Thanks Jenny! I had to have a “no means no” talk with the class tonight after a student asked why Miss Lonelyhearts kicked her date out after he jumps her, if she’s so lonely. 60%
June 11th outfit that I wore to teach in. They got a quiz and we watched Citizen Kane in a sweltering room. One girl fell asleep and jumped out of her chair when Bernstein came crashing through the Inquirer office. 95% (because there is no pattern on the back of this shirt)
