Day 364: the last day posing for a pic with Val Desjardins at La Centrale at the official closing of the project where the amazing and talented Nikol Mikus and Alyson Wishnousky worked their respective bags off styling subjects and taking wicked pictures of people who came to try on my animal print wardrobe, get their picture taken, and take an item or two home with them to make it part of their daily lives. Many pictures to follow!
I also performed Yoko Ono’s Cut Piece, a performance in which members of the audience are invited to cut off a piece of my clothing until I am left naked.
Thanks to everyone for coming out and making this a very memorable end to a year of wearing animal print 24/7 for 364 days straight.
Day 341 on St Catherine, 95%
I’m not buying this and neither are you. At Curio on Mount Royal.
Day 331 in and out of karaoke eyelashes before and after. I hosted the karaoke party at the Royal Phoenix as there was a giant roller derby tournament this weekend in Montreal. It was super fun, there was lots of crazy singing, and the eyelashes held in all night. Thanks to a few red bulls, so did I, 100%
Blue lion lights for the new bus girl in training/coat-check girl captured at the Royal Phoenix by the cub who works security there on the weekends
Day 315 and it seems like February. It snowed (a lot) today and there are those including myself, who experience seasonal memory loss where we seem to forget that we live in Canada where this is normal and in fact happens every year. Somehow, I managed to brave the snow and sleet, resurrecting the Captain Caveman vest and went to the Alison Bechdel talk tonight at the Ukrainian Federation which was great! Now back to a weekend of homework, 95%
Day 287 in cougar face, 95%
Day 283 shopping for groceries. I’m at that point where I need to mix and match prints that probably ‘shouldn’t’ go together- a slap to my eyeballs, a wake-up call to my vision, 95%
Day 268 at the Oscars with the ballots and everything. I’m 2 for 5, the cub is 3 for 5, 95%
